Going forward, UCD Medical Society will be the official representative body of AMSI (Association of Medical Students Ireland) in UCD. To reflect this our committee structure is changing this year, so have a look through the positions available and see if there are any that you think would be a good fit for you!
Have the chance to organise one of Ireland's largest national undergraduate research competitions.
You won't be alone in this, with a sub-committee of other MedSoc members you will have responsibility for the organisation of the Student Medical Summit.
The exciting one day event will take place in February 2022 and will feature workshops, key note speakers and a poster competition.

Public Relations Officer
If your insta captions never fail to get a laugh, you dabble in graphic design and you know how to take a picture in the dark (that doesn't look shite) then this is the position for you!
You'll be responsible for all things social media, as well as our in-house event photography. So if you can't get your head out of your phone and love nothing more than a good aesthetic apply below!
Take the reins of our annual charity fundraiser where every year in October, 400+ UCD Medical Students take to the streets of Dublin, bucket shaking to collect money for our chosen charity.
You'll have overall responsibility for charity picking, so if there's something close to your heart and you want to make a difference, then apply below!
You'll also be in charge of our semester 2 charity event, (did someone say strictly?!), so if you think you can bring something unique to these, be sure to let us know!
Calling all sports fans and athletes! You don’t have to be the best sports person, all we’re looking for is enthusiasm, fun and some organisational skills.
As sports officer you would be in charge of organising all MedSoc sporting events like Tag Rugby, Basketball and Med Cup to name a few.

Applications from CURRENT STAGE 2 - RUMC Students
You will be responsible for helping to integrate incoming and current RUMC classes.
As a member of the committee you will promote and help in the planning of events. For stages 2, 3 and 4 you will organise mixers along with the elected class representatives.
We are looking for an RUMC student with good communication skills and who wants to be a leader in enhancing the UCD experience for all. An ability to be creative and fun is a bonus!
International Exchanges Officer
The International Exchanges Officer will be responsible for organising professional exchanges with universities around the world.
You will work with the AMSI national committee to set UCD students up with fun and exciting opportunities to learn abroad!
Welfare (Sexual and Reproductive Health and Human Rights) Officer
You will be responsible for organising events that raise awareness and educate students on sexual and reproductive health and human rights as well as general wellbeing.
This exciting new role will give you an opportunity to positively impact on the wellbeing of your fellow students!
